Parking is free and the lot is attended by YMCA staff during Y business hours. There is our new Upper Lot, which is entered through the existing large lot. The small lot marked "Childcare pickup and drop off only" is reserved for YMCA buses and vans and for parents of children in our School Readiness program.

Getting there: The Den is at 30 Baker Hollow Rd. in Windsor, CT. Your phone’s map program should get you here but if you’re using a GPS you’re going to get put about .75 miles from our building (and on the other side of a dirt road). Wherever you’re coming from, get off of exit 38 on route 91 and follow the signs to Day Hill Rd. Take a left onto Baker Hollow after about 1.75 miles after getting onto Day Hill Rd. We are down the 3rd driveway on the left after turning onto Baker Hollow. If you ignore my directions and get on Baker Hollow via Marshall Phelps Rd, you can still get here but you’ll drive on a dirt road and think that you’re totally lost (not recommended). Parking: Will be a challenge this weekend, the fresh foot of snow is taking away some of our spaces and easy access to some lots next door to ours. This would be a great weekend to carpool in! There is a “park and ride” lot right off of exit 38 on route 91. I’d ask you to try to coordinate having players/coaches meet there and leave a car behind. I also would ask everyone that is staying at a hotel to leave a car there (both Saturday and especially Sunday). There is a good amount of parking around our building and we’ll use every bit of it and then some. Please use the rules below (and common sense) to determine where to park. If it doesn’t look like there’s a space and you shouldn’t park there, then please don’t. It’ll save us making a lot of pages to move your car.
Please do not park: -in any spaces that are marked off with orange cones (reserved for our neighbors and fire lanes). -Behind #44 Baker Hollow Rd (Spacefitters building). Their loading dock area needs access and is in use 7 days a week. -On our long driveway, it’s needed as a fire lane and also tractor trailers come down that road 7 days a week -Anywhere that does not appear to be a marked space -There is parking around the back of our building, some is not marked however there will be someone there to direct you where to park. We will not be letting people in the back of the building this weekend though (people track in salt and water) so you’ll need to walk around to the front. Entering the building: There are two entrances, one at the corner of the building where you first walk in and the other on the long side of the building with all the windows (there are actually 6 doors but there’s one that’s bigger and we’ll try to mark it) Once inside: Please do not walk on the playing surface with any shoes that have been outdoors. No coffee, soda, sports drinks are allowed on the sport court surface. If you spill anything on the court surface, you’re responsible for cleaning it up (be alert!) There is no seating provided, please bring a chair (please don’t take chairs from the team benches or the work team since we’ll just make you give them back). You can set up around the edges of all of courts (past the ends of the team benches). Players: Bags may be placed around the edges of the court by the walls. Please don’t leave bags between courts and in the walkways down the middle. You may also leave them in the lobby. We highly encourage teams that are off to visit and hang out in the lobby while on break. Concessions: -There’s a limited concessions stand, the only food readily available to eat will be pizza (delivered starting around 11:30-11:40a). There is a Subway and a few other restaurants near exit 38 on route 91 (about 1.7 miles away) -NERVA has a t-shirt vendor attending as well, they’ll be stationed in the lobby.
